As long as women have been playing tennis, there has never been a shoe specifically designed for them. Think about that: women have been playing since the 1800s, and the whole time they’ve been using shoes designed for men’s feet.
But with the release of Avacourt, Adidas said no to the “shrink it and pink it” design philosophy of most shoe companies and created a shoe designed for her game from the ground up.
We were so excited to help Adidas debut this innovation to the world, so we created an integrated campaign starring Garbine Muguruza breaking the literal mold to introduce the new standard that is Avacourt, and serving up a whole new type of empowerment.
